Landscape photography for me is the attempt to distil a scene into a small number of individual components: the sweep of a beach, the structure of a pier set against the sea and sky, for example. Much like a memory, there is no unnecessary detail, no clutter or distraction - just the key elements that tell the story and capture the emotion.

 

My landscape prints are limited editions, giving my owners the reassurance that their image will not become mainstream and its value protected.
