I've always been interested in art... but since retirement have had much more time to try out different media. I began experimenting with paper collage using patches of colour from magazine pictures, adverts etc. and this has now become an absorbing interest.

 

People give me their old magazines, brochures and the like and I trawl through them for colours and textures that may be useful and store them in colour coded boxes. I then trawl though my 'treasures' until I find just the right tree colour, misty background or stonework to build my picture.
