Welcome to CHAFF 2023
Our Cheddar Arts Fringe Festival (CHAFF) is held each year over the first May Bank Holiday weekend. This year we had 32 artists showcasing their work in 11 different venues.
We had workshops running at 3 of the venues, The Arts Quarter, Forge Pottery and in the Catholic Community Hall.
This year we raised over £400 towards the charities Médecins sans Frontières, Space Cheddar and Sightsavers from kind donations by our visitors, thank you.
We are delighted to announce that Beccy was the winner of our prize draw to win a voucher to spend with one of our artists. By stamping her way round the trail she was able to put the quote "All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist when we grow up." together and knew it was by Picasso.
Loved this event! It was lovely to see so much amazing artwork, especially as it was from local artists. I found it very inspirational . I want to do more art myself.
It was great to visit Cheddar especially walking to the different venues. Lovely area. The art work was outstanding . It was a lovely event.
