CHAFF Presents
The Cheddar Arts Trail 2026

The CHAFF Arts Trail returns for the first May bank holiday weekend – and this year it's bigger than ever, with over 40 local artists opening their homes and studios to the public.

Wander through the picturesque village of Cheddar at your own pace, meet the artists, see the work being made, and take home original, affordable art. Alongside the studios you'll find workshops to take part in and charity stalls supporting local causes.

The trail is completely free to visit, with all venues open 10.30am–4.30pm each day from Saturday 2nd May to Monday 4th May 2026.

There's no set route – just turn up and explore

Plan Your Visit

Use our interactive map to explore all venue locations before you visit, or download the brochure and map to have everything you need to hand on the day.

GETTING HERE & PARKING

The two main pay and display car parks are on Church Street (BS27 3NZ) and Cliff Street (BS27 3PT), open 24 hours with charges between 9am–6pm. There are also car parks within Cheddar Gorge. We would recommend arriving before 11am to secure a space, though many venues are on residential streets where free on-street parking is available.

Travelling by bus? The 126 First Bus service (Saturday only)  runs through Cheddar between Weston-super-Mare and Wells.
