Mark Chivers is an artist from Cheddar, Somerset. He is inspired by the forms and aesthetics of the natural world, and his favourite mediums are painting and illustration.

 

Mark's work captures both the raw granular detail and texture of nature, but also the broad strokes of sunlight and shadow across the subjects. He enjoys portraying landscapes, especially those featuring trees, as well as the overlooked miniature creatures that inhabit the world all around us.
