Nico Mann

My first encounter with stone was in 1989, but it was not until 2019 that I started sculpting in earnest. I try to give form to qualities that the raw material does not obviously present - energy, fluidity and even lightness - through more or less abstract representations of flight and the flow of water. I waver between the figurative and the abstract, the rough and the smooth.
