Walking and sitting within a landscape inspires my art, somehow the energy of a place seeps into my breath, bones and heart. Initial mark-making is free-flowing, instinctual, responding without any need to create a "picture".  This can progress into an expressive or abstract piece, at other times detail will emerge. Charcoal, Indian Ink, soft pastels, collage and watercolour are my mediums of choice at the moment.  Just play...we're all creative!
