I love capturing the landscape in monochromatic drawings using charcoal, graphite and printmaking as mediums through which I can achieve the changing moods and wonderful contrasts of light and dark. ​

 

Sometimes, wanting colour to play a part, I have found that mark-making with vibrant pastels allows me to do this in a manner that suits the way I like to work.
